Tony moved to Sonoma County in 1990 and has been well received and respected, first as a top Junior Player and next as a Teaching Pro. In 1993, Tony attended the John Newcomb Tennis Academy in Texas, spending the first half of his Sophomore year of High School playing with some of the best Junior prospects in the world. Shortly after coming back to Northern California, he won the Pacific Coast Junior National Doubles tournament in the 16’s division. After taking seven years away from the sport, Tony rekindled his passion for tennis, playing at the Santa Rosa JC and achieving a California Community College ranking of 37th.
As a tennis pro, Tony has been coaching in Marin and Sonoma counties since 2003, at Rolling Hills Club, Belvedere Tennis Club, and Rafael Racquet Club along with public facilities. He has worked with many Adult and Junior players, coaching several Juniors to a top 5 ranking in Norcal and into the top 75 Nationally.

Chris has been teaching and coaching tennis at Petaluma Valley Athletic Club for 30 years and has developed one of the most comprehensive tennis programs in Sonoma County. Chris’ credentials include: coaching three Women’s teams (3.0, 3.5, & 4.0) to USTA National Championships, coaching Juniors obtaining NorCal rankings in Top 25, worked under Jim Bedilion at Ross Valley with the Junior Excellence Program for high-ranking NorCal Juniors, coaching Sonoma Napa Marin Ladies Teams for 30 years, coaching Men and Women’s USTA teams, coaching high school tennis at Rancho Cotate, Petaluma, and Casa Grande high schools, and tournament director for the Petaluma City Jr. Tournament. Chris has played at the 5.0 level in his younger years and is now playing 4.5 tennis.

Born and raised in Petaluma, California, Wayne graduated from Sonoma State with a BA in History and holds a teaching credential from Chapman University. Wayne has taught tennis at Petaluma Valley Athletic Club for over 15 years. Wayne works with all levels of players including men, women and juniors.
